Home, sweet home

The next round of FIA World Touring Car Championship’s next top will be at the Hungaroring in Hungary. I guess we don’t have to say that as the home race it’s the most important stop of the year for us. Amazing atmosphere and tons of greats fans during all weekend long so it’s absolutely the highlight race of the year. The team doesn’t have that much time being excited as unfortunately some part of my teammate’s car has destroyed in Slovakia last weekend as the back of the car went on fire during the first Slovakian race. In the last few days the team has been working very hard day and night to make the car usable and finally we’re getting there!

My car #99 is still not ready to race as we haven’t got the engine. We’re working really hard to find a solution to make at least a few laps around the track in front of the home crowd but unfortunately it seems like this is not possible now. My main task at these hard moments is still the learning, keep learning from the team as much as I can, helping to the team and also to my teammate. I’m also trying to deal more with my social media channels to bring this great sport closer to you all this weekend as I will have pretty much time.

At the moment, it seems like we will get the engine for the original Nürburgring also called Nordschleife so we will be able to make my debut there. It’s an ideal track for a debut and learning, isn’t it? With its 25 kilometres and more than 100 turns we can say bravely that it’s the hardest race track ever. It’s not sure yet if we the engine will be ready to race until then but finally we see the light at the end of the tunnel!
